My mom loved Kathleen KellyвЂ™s haircut so much, that she used to take the movie in to her hairdresserвЂ“this is when it came out on DVD, by the wayвЂ“and have her hair cut and styled just like shopgirl herself.

Kathleen Kelly and Joe F-O-X in YouвЂ™ve Got Mail (After rewinding, of course.) My mom and I are big Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks fans, and she got me started on my love for them with this movie and the crowd favorite, Sleepless in Seattle.

I used to keep it in my VCR and just play it over and over again. I should start by saying YouвЂ™ve Got Mail is my absolute favorite movie of all time. I donвЂ™t know how this Meg Ryan/Princess Diana look came to me, maybe in a dream, but once I thought of it, I had to make it happen. Last year, after Halloween, I thought about wanting to be Jackie Kennedy in the little pink suit and pillbox hat, but sadly, the holiday had passed. I always think of a million Halloween ideas when thereвЂ™s virtually no time left to do them. I usually think IвЂ™m not going to dress up because thereвЂ™s not usually a party to go to, and then last minute I start thinking IвЂ™m missing out on something if I donвЂ™t, which leads me to Amazon, where dreams really do come true. That is no exception when it comes to Halloween costumes.
